Good Morning everyone.
been trying to get a jump on spring but am having motivation issues with it still being cold out.

DGD was not feeling well and it was cold so we watched the chicken cam in with broody and mama. So that was fun for her even more so for me, Cuz




She loves to sit with the Chicks And they love to sit with her. I think we are almost done with the frost so out they will go.
I had to put the cam link on her tablet as well so she can watch them from home.

I am also thinking about putting all the flocks together and seeing how they do in just one coop / run. Have a date tomorrow to play with DGD and DD and of course DGD wants me to bring a couple of chicks to her house to play and meet her friend.

Aww! Little people and chickies - how sweet is that?

(now I'm getting all sentimental and reminiscent . . . .where does the time go?)

This rain situation is insane. The bucket is full again, which means we got at least 6 inches of rain during the last 24 hours. So yes, even the rabbitry is flooded (the cages are 4 feet off the ground, so I'm the only one dealing with unpleasantness there). Once again, I'm thinking, "hey, it could be worse - it could be snow!!"

Stay warm and dry, y'all.


I'm starting to wonder . . . .does anybody make scuba gear for horses?

Not really. At least the sun is shining, but we are still pretty deep in snow. I wish it would warm and melt some :/ right now it is 17. If it warms up this afternoon I may bundle the girls and kick them out. It is worth hoping anyway.
