I have been known to make my cakes with whole wheat flour and applesauce

It makes me feel a bit better for eating it

my wife has used applesauce in cakes........I think it makes them super moist......doesn't bother me a bit when she does...

OFW, is me and my family beginning to slip into Organicism? lol

she already uses lots of home remedies for things.......

cough syrup
upset stomachs
she's looking into making soap and candles.
wants an herbal garden based on home remedies, and cooking.
she's always been able to sew, but recently started sewing her and the girls skirts.

lol........I was actually thinking about the folks that do not eat meat at all, the super health freaks, that look un healthy.......I know your mantra...live organic, but not drink the koolaide.......

I never can remember if vegan does no meat products, or vegetarian.......or if there is some new catch word....

Glutten free is the new catch word. I saw a bean can that proudly proclaimed to be Glutten free, like people do not even know what Glutten is.

well if you ignore the custard holing the fruit n the middle......and ignore the fact the dough was probably deep fried.......it's totally healthy......


but I agree, it does look good.

Just depends on how you decide to combat weeds and pests, and how you fertilize, etc.,,,,

You need to get her a Rodale's Herb encyclopedia, this is my go to book.
It has layouts for herb gardens, medicinal, kitchen, dye, fragrance, gives detailed info for all plants.
