Morning! Woke up to silence of the wind. I think she's taking a big breath cause we are supposed to have 80mph tomorrow calming down to 60mph on Friday.

I just don't even know what to say anymore. It is just mind "blowing" how constant the strong winds have been this year. It is the talk of the mountains for sure. My chickens are so used to it that they are out and about, getting pushed around when the winds are about 40/50. When the gusts get "dense", they beeline for the coop but other than that, they are like wheeeeee! I had to chase a bobcat "kitten" off of my deck yesterday about 11AM. I ran it up the hill and over the ridge, but it didn't seem too scared of me, just annoyed. It was checking out the chickens but was clueless as to how to get them, cause I was watching it for a good 15 minutes or so. I must have had bad kitty ju-ju energy on me when I came back in the house because my kitten was scared to death of me for a few minutes and then he warmed back up.
Coffee and those breakfast tacos look delicious!

Jalapeño hot. I like jalapeños but not any warmer then that.

YUM! I love them too, but agree, they are about as hot as I get.
