BYC Café

I've been fortunate in never having much of a commute. These days I just walk across the house to the office.

I've had jobs before, where you could remote login from a laptop, and work just like you were working from your PC. That was nice. Unfortunately this company does not do that. However, depending on what my current workload is, there are opportunities for me to work from home occasionally.

It has been nice working from home this past year, and been nice working part time. The company I work for has been great so far.

I do miss some of my friends and coworkers at the hospital, but not all the stress.

Yes your right. Good morning Friday! Could not sleep either?
Good Humpday Morning Friday

Sorry about that, I just missed your post somehow.

The best part about working at home, other than being at home, is not having to deal with some folks at work. And you can always go in and have lunch with the old coworkers that you liked.

Unfortunately, in my field, it is almost mandatory that you have many face-to-face dealing with the other disciplines.

Got the kitchen liveable and a couple loads of laundry done. Going to sneak up and see if i can get another hour or two of sleep. If so i will consider this a great day.
See you all later!
