BYC Café

Of course not, I should have reworded that.

It is not too early to think about sour dancing naked

Why, Berts, you surprise me.

Is it really EVER to early for naked dancing?

Of course not, I should have reworded that.

Hey boots! I know the area.

Welcome to BYC!

So... I assume this question is directed to the guys, but Bunny or Margie will probably be the ones that know..

I was moving the weed eater and it dripped that oil gas mixture into my hair.
I have washed, washed ,washed, washed.

Then decided perhaps shampoo alone was too wimpy, and used Dawn, repeatedly,
Then decided the dawn just needed to sit in my hair for a few hours,,, then I tried rubbing alcohol.

Then -after repeated washings again, I tried VO5 hot oil... Doesn't even mask the smell.
After my dental appointment this afternoon, I will try again.. but with what? Coconut oil? Mayo?
My husband just gets his hair cut when he has these issues,

The only thing that could make this worse for me would have been if it were diesel.

Dawn dish soap
Rinse
Mayonnaise (the real stuff)
Let sit 5 min
Rinse
Wash with shampoo
Not positive it would work, but it is what I would try

Good morning all! It looks like a dreary lousy day today. Rain would be good, but it doesn't rain it just spits and the wind blows...we have been in red flag warnings for way to long, I cannot get out into the garden to plant my potatoes because I cannot burn :/
Oh well, on a happier note we had a 4H group come out to tour the farm yesterday. The kids were mostly preteens so had to act sufficiently unimpressed :) But this is not the first tour DH has done with kids. He quit talking and got them out with the calves and let them run on the hay bales. So they had a great time.

Um, hummmmm..... Howdy Boots! Hummmmmm
I usually use soap and then baking soda and vinegar to remove most of the smell off of my hands but on your hair? .... You could try it for sure. You may not have much hair left after all of this, lol!
I need more coffee. That dancing naked scene was too much and I started laughing and spilled some and so now I need more coffee, thank you very much!

I've had more than my share of messes, but I don't know that I've ever gotten two-cycle fuel in my hair. . . . .

I've heard Coke suggested for getting it out of clothing. I like Fast Orange for getting the smell off my hands, but not sure about hair - I'd be afraid that stuff might fry your hair.

Good ol' sunshine and fresh air has always been good for getting that sort of thing out of jackets and jeans . . . .

Just some thoughts.

stick with the mayo method.......please......lol

seriously, wonder if the same method to remove skunk odor would work?

I do not know, I think both are oil based.. the smell in skunk is..? Protein? I just do not know,
I almost doused it with hydrogen peroxide , but I could never pull off being a blond.

The thought of a match occurred to me at one point and I was

"Get it together woman!"
Sunshine was my next thought, to just let it volatilize off.
