So now I am 70 posts awry. Any obits posted?
No more babies ATM.... yesterday was weird. The new mom started headbutting the little ones, but then she would lick and also let them nurse and so......
Hummmm, I was thinking stress and sore teats. Watched her on and off, decided to not tie her up, just because she would let them nurse and the head butts seemingly were not hurting them...., decided to leave her alone overnight with them and hope for the best, figuring - praying that the mothering hormones would kick in the more they nursed and if I interfered that might do more harm and ?????
There are 2 alive and alert lambs in there with her this AM. I am going to check again when the sun is up, but I think she is good.

Coffee is required yet again.....

Howdy... Say hi to Seven....i just posted this as a test... I can post pics of i switch to desk top mode on my phone...... Kind of s pain but at least it works.....

Oh what the heck I'll give equal time to R.C. best dog I've ever had... If anything ever happens to me my misgivings want him to stay on the block..... So they are his "god parents"

Awww, they are darlling, Phill -- looks like they approve of the new furniture!

That is why I'm add a ton of cream and sugar to mine....

again no experience with sheep....but first time hefers will do that. DH says they are confused, unsure what just happened, and sore. Sometimes he will get one that refuses to let the calf suck, but it does not always take the headgate, sometimes he can make them stand still long enough the calf will get in there, and once he starts sucking things calm down.

old German gal.....remember waking up at their house to the sound of her tea kettle sounding off. she had an old timey metal steep she used......

course she made it strong enough for it to be as bitter as coffee.......

again no experience with sheep....but first time hefers will do that. DH says they are confused, unsure what just happened, and sore. Sometimes he will get one that refuses to let the calf suck, but it does not always take the headgate, sometimes he can make them stand still long enough the calf will get in there, and once he starts sucking things calm down.

Give her a little time, and keep on with what you're doing, by being as hands free as you can, and keeping an eye on things......

Love coffee, black. Medium roast Kona Peaberry is one of my favorites, but it tastes better fresh off the farm and DH won't let me go get some more.

Maybe next year.

To me coffee is the 'new beer'. Just as there was no 'bad beer', there is no 'bad coffee' - some is just better than others.

Been thinking about that all day. I don't like burnt coffee, especially because it burns off all the caffeine and just tastes like liquid charcoal. Guess Charbucks isn't really bad, because I'd drink it if I was desperate.
