Getting some rain here, yes..... Break time. I got a lot of stuff planted and tomatoes in the greenhouse.
Gonna try sweet potatoes and see what they do up here in the house. Maybe I will try one out in the garden with a cover too. If it quits raining before my meeting, DS$ and I will work on the new babies, shots and docking.

maybe you can spray Miracle Gro on it to nourish it - if it needs humidity to sprout, you might need a clear plastic dome (with vents) over it.

Second year kale's tender flower shoots are to die for. Best salad ever with balsamic vinaigrette!

Scott and Bert, I see you are up early. Dogs were up at 5:30. A couple of jakes in the side yard gobbling... Just heard that Hostess is recalling 700,000 snack cakes due to possible cross contamination with peanuts. Better get your Suzy-Q's now. And the little Debbie Star Crunch is crispy rice, caramel and chocolate. They are pretty tasty. More planting today, eight whiskey barrels for our little downtown area. And the township meeting tonight. I think I'm taking tomorrow off!

They sound delicious! I love rice crispies so would probably love those! Wow 700,000!? Fortunately I'm not allergic to peanuts so even if they were, wouldn't affect me but wow that's a lot!

Good morning coffee goers. I'm way outta the loop with all these tropical storms, I guess the "storm talk" doesn't come northern where I am. Hopefully Colin passes through quickly for all you done South. 700,000 cakes! Ack, won't be getting Hostess cakes anytime soon. I'm more of a Little Debbie fan though, so it shouldn't effect me much. I'm more of a little debbie fan too! I used to looooveeeee hostess though but either I was little and obviously or they've become terrible lol
