High winds predicted again tonight. Oh well. DH came down with some sort of respiratory crud today and he spent the day camped out by the fire. DS$ went off to wrestling practice and so I am waiting for him to get home and then off to bed. I wish I could have some hot coffee now but I think that I shall wait until tomorrow.... those cookies look pretty good too and I bet they would go well with a hot cup of something.

I am so done with Henry my Roo, he just attacked me again - I was putting out cold water as theirs had got so hot already and the LITTLE bugger grabbed me with his claws and pecked away. Tetanus, two weeks anti biotics and a leg like a tree stump. Great..

have followed all your tips for dealing with aggressive roos but this is the last straw. He just has it in for me. RIP Henry
Will have to see if all bantams are this aggressive.

sorry Whoop Whoop but I hear the meanest roosters make the best soup. I think some bantams have Chihuahua syndrome - too big for their britches

Totally agree, I know he is just being a Roo and I'm a threat but I am now scared of him -so soup it is or may be stock.. he is just plain mean -going to watch TV its safer.

Whoop, I have found that most of the time a Roo with an attitude is best if cooked sooner then waiting till later.

I help get the Grandbabies out the door for school, and then start my day.
I hope to get a bit of a nap before lunch time.
Why can't you put the trash out now and then go to bed whenever you are ready?
