Evening!  Glad everyone is having fun with the snow and the green crystals.  Wouldn't that be amazing if they were really real?  Heading out again in the AM.  It is supposed to get windy, like 60mph tomorrow night and that ought to put a wrinkle in the old snowfields.  Sheeze.....

We have a baseball bat by the door and we use it to brace the windward door and use the other one, depending on the day.
I had to see if we were drifted in..., not yet so I guess I will start the coffee.
It sounds like tomorrow may be a different story though! From our local weather guy......

"I measured a total of 25.4" of snow earlier this week, with 1.37" water content for the biggest January snow storm since at least 1991.
As the cold air recedes we will get some moisture to spill over during the next two days, and it will get warm enough to even mix with rain. The main story is the wind (yet again), there is potential for a major windstorm to hit hardest from Sunday into Monday. "

Good morning! Looks like we are going to be above zero here today, which is an improvement. Still single digits though...

I see I missed all the fun with the green crystals yesterday. I didn't have my glasses on and I thought the same thing. Which seemed perfectly reasonable to me, sometimes our snow will have a bluish tinge to it, so....

Party went well last night, but as usual, we have a ton of food left over. So I think we will snacking all the way through the football game, and I'm not making dinner!

Blue snow, yellow snow it's all cold. Left over party food can be real tasty the next day.

I'm making the 2nd pot of coffee and going back out to deal with more hard water.

Wind is also kicking up. I really hate the wind. Just going to give the dogs their soup, shovel a bit of snow, and then the Princess is taking me to breakfast. It tastes so much better when she pays.

I am a happy person! No wind here and the temps have gained 15 degrees in last 2.5 hours. We are all the way to Zero now. I am thinking about sun bathing today.
