I think it was the lure of the aspen snack..... and he has been stuck multiple times, (all different things) so I know there is some learning going on, he just tries things out and then waits patiently for me to come rescue him. The first time, I was stressing, being a horse person first, thinking all heck was going to break loose but no, he just waits and calmly lets me help him out. Now he is bigger and I am hoping this is the last sheep proofing that I will need to do. Who knew that he would mangle the protective chicken wire in order to be able get his head through there.... He is my only one that causes mayhem.

Margie, I think it's the curse of sheep or goats.........they will always manage a way to get their heads stuck......

I'm seriously considering disbudding every goat ever born on the place from now on.....

Good Morning Everyone! Back to a smidgen of this and that weather wise but no sun. Stay safe Wiggles! I had a van do a 360 right in front of us at the bottom of the canyon last evening. Hit the guardrail on the creekside and then he slid back into his lane but not into the deep snow so he was able to back up and get organized enough to continue past another car that was very stuck into the snow bank. Black ice claims yet another checkmark in his column.... I had fun yesterday morning too. Silly boy.

Good Morning Everybody,

This the quiet morning before the storm starts later this weekend, or so those forecasters say.
I do hope that weather system settles down to a dull roar and stops this tornado and such crap.
I hope all stay safe and dry.
Coffee and tea water is ready to go.
Grandpa would not have sheep or goats on his farm, I wonder if Margie's is a reason why.

@scottcaddy Tornadoes scare me silly. We dont have them often up here in the New England. Very rarely, in fact and if we do they are not bad ones. Are you really expecting a tornado or was that just a figure of speech? Stay safe regardless, oh, and Good Morning!

The storm system in the South right now did have tornadoes Friday, Birmingham and Hattiesburg, Mississippi had them hit and more are possible today and Sunday.

All that rain and frozen ground should make for nice slick mud.
Staying home is a good idea, more cookies comes to mind
