Ohhh okay, that makes sense then. I only wanted 8 and a variety of breeds so I went with a place with a smaller minimum

Haha, ya a 5 bird minimum would really limit you there! I got 36  (hopefully not going to regret it!). But all are ordered straight run; the extra roos will be table birds.

Haha yuppp! Ended up with 2 Barred Rocks (one died at 6 days old

), 2 Black Australorps, 3 Buff Orpingtons, and 2 Easter Eggers. The extra BO was the Meyer Meal Maker and thankfully it was another Orpington and a female
