BYC Café

Good morning, I've put the water on for tea and the coffee is ready. I'll try to leave some coffee for you all!

Mornin' chicken friends, Ive been absent from the cafe for a few days, work and all.

@whoop whoop happy news for you thank goodness!

Interesting about the cougars. We've had a couple in New England mostly in western CT. No one believed the poor folks that saw them at first until one got hit by a car. I'm pretty sure it had a collar it traveled all the way from the far mid west. I agree, I don't think you could mistake a mountain lion for any other animal. We have bob cat and people think thats a mountain lion only when they have no clue what a bob cat looks like. Totally different, way smaller, tufted ears and more fluffy and of course the bobbed tail kinda gives it away.

Ive worked on the coop a bit, have some walls up now and its supposed to be in the 40's and maybe even hit 50 this weekend and I have hubby to help so the goal is to get the roof on.

Have a happy weekend and Ill post a pic of my coop progress in a sec

Thanks for the coffee @N F C

Good morning everyone.

Merry mouse, that's a pretty nice looking coop you've got started there. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Whoop, glad you got some good news. Anything to lower the stress level a bit.

We have Cougars here, although the DNR tried to tell people they were imagining it for years. But, when one got caught in a snare it's kinda hard to say they aren't here. I don't think we have many, some people suspect one breeding pair, but as the wolves and coyotes cause way more trouble no one really seems to pay much attention to the mountain lions.

Have a fabulous day everybody!

All very interesting. I wonder if we still have them here

Guess it's too late for good morning, at least at my house. So I'll just say hi!

Good afternoon always seemed too formal for me.

Still have two minutes here - so Good Morning!

If you wait long enough you can say Good Evening in that really creepy, old fashioned horror movie voice..........

Good Morning Café

Just a bit busy here, dropping to say Hi and that it is Spring here in NC for this next week.
I hope everybody has a great weekend!

So jealous - we had a spring teaser last week and then it went back to cold and wet and icky.........

Coop in progress

Looking good! Mine is in progress too, but is being built inside at the moment and won't be moved out and fully assembled for another week or so due to the weather we're having (apparently DH doesn't want to build in the pouring rain, whatever.......lol)
