-sigh- the kids are cute, but dang was it stupid to marry spouse.

Whatever.....

So in-laws called me....said that it looked like the goats were not being fed or milked. ... I was just kind of...OK...what do you want me to do? Jump on a plane today and fly back?

The sitter has told me that things are being taken care of...so....the only way for me to figure out what is going on is to look in person. ....how am I to do that? Huh?

She was like "won't something bad happen if the goat isn't milked? " and I answered "yeah....but she told me she is milking...and I can't do anything else long distance. ..... I can't check up on it....I am in Texas"

And she said that she and father-in-law could show up every day and lock the goats back up (because the goats were out when the in-laws went by), and feed them...

And I said if she did that, then the sitter would think that she was feeding them too little and feed them less...why would they do the job of the sitter?

And this is the woman that was so upset when I wanted her to take ONE 5 mile trip to get rid of 2 newly hatched chicks...yeah right. I would NEVER hear the end of it if they took over my animal chores.

bears, in-laws, goats and fleas. What more could a cafe customer ask for?

Al don't sweat the little things. Just be kind and tell in-laws the sitter is taking care of things and that you will be home soon.
for you and your family.
Try not to let everything stress you out.
As for the fleas get some spray and put some salt in the carpet and then vacuum everything well. Salt will get them running and the vacuum will get them up.
Empty the vaccum after wards.
