BYC Café

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee.
Congrats on your new tractor MM looks great how fun teaching your kid to drive it.
Diva is it the 4 letter word that start's with an "F"? that you are trying to be nice and sensor?

For for the last 4-5 years our coffee pot had just died.
So I told Dh I wanted a peculator coffee pot so it won't quit working on us anymore.
It's crazy to spend 50-60$ a year on a disposable coffee pot! And we bought some good ones.
So we ordered on off Amazon for 19.99 and it got here yesterday.
I made the best coffee I have ever tasted this morning! So happy with my new pot!
I will never buy an drip pot again.
Here in AL. we have so much limestone in the water that it clogs them up and
they quit working.

We have limey water also, I just run a pint of vinegar thru it about every 6 weeks or when ever it starts to slow down. That cleans the build-up out so they don't overheat and burn out their fuseable link or the heater it's self.
Same pot for several years.

I cleaned mine with vinegar every week and it still clogged up in the tube somewhere so the water would not go through. The water would stay in the bottom somewhere and could not all come out. I just got tried of replacing them. Now I won't have to. hahhaaa
I kind of thought the Keurig was the answer but they are also having problems with algae build up.
