BYC Café

Alaskan, I think a coffee iv.drip will get you up on your feet again fast!!
Totally agree! Unfortunately, there wasn't one available at any of the airport kiosks.

Chicka? Algae? ?? In the coffee maker? :sick But maybe it acts as a filter? Or adds trace nutrients? :lau

Supposedly. Never can tell....

I boarded the first metal bird in Austin, Texas then headed west.... not sure which BYCers I flew over, but boy was that land dry.

I then sat in the San Francisco airport for hours...expensive food there...not impressed. I was hoping the land of fruit loops would offer fresh fruit smoothies....but I didn't see any.

I am now on a flying metal death trap to Anchorage, where I get to sleep on the floor of the airport with my kid. Not sure why I decided that was worth the money saved. I hate spending money...but I am starting to think that this particular frugality was stupid. :old

Cant wait to see if all of the animals are alive and well...actually...I can wait....I hate bad surprises and I am a very strong pessimist as well as a firm believer in Murphy's law. I might just keep my eyes closed. :D

Good luck Al. I'm sure all will be well. I'll be optimistic for you. And yes, west Texas can be dry as a bone some times if not most if the time

West Texas was actually green...lots of stuff blooming too... :) purty.

I think the super dry that I looked at was Nevada. However, silly states don't label themselves.

You mean they aren't pink and orange and purple and blue? Sheesh. They are on my globe, and the states maps/puzzles. You'd think the states would get it right.

Huck thought the same thing

Morning! Sounds like your adventure in traveling is just about to wrap up, :yesss:. Things are probably just fine at home.
We had a gentle rain last night after DH spent time grading the driveway, trying to get it perfect..., it should settle it in real nice now. Foggy and a high near 59 today, my garden does not know what to think.
Happy Friday! Enjoy the Holiday! Stay safe!
