BYC Café

Morning cafe, coffee & water for tea is ready.

Margie, that's quite a story about the duck! Glad she was ok.

Have a good day everyone

Morning! Got your coffee ready?
So I am on the phone with DS$ telling him about the duck and he is saying that all of the good stuff happens when he is away. "No, stuff always happens. It just changes its brand of craziness." I say. I hang up. I instantly get a call asking for help.
"Do you have a pen for a loose mean billy goat for the night?"
"What?" It is 8 at night now...
"It is loose and animal control can't come up and get it until tomorrow and it is way back off of the beaten path and you are the only person I could think of that can do this." so I look at my brother and tell him to grab his sense of humor cause we are going on an adventure. He looked at me like, how can I possibly be related to this person...
I currently have a BIG stinky billy goat in my trailer, because it took four men, granted they were a bit tippsy, to drag him over from where he had bedded down after a long day of trying to ram people. I opted to leave him in the trailer until AC comes up to get him.
They must have been "playing" and "dancing" with this goat all day until someone got hurt and then made the phone call to the sheriff asking for help.
Wait until I tell my kid about this one! :lau

Good Morning Margie and Everyone :frow
What happened Sat morning with BYC? It died here in NC :barnie
Margie I hope that your 'brand of craziness' don't get any more crazy.
Have a fun Sunday
Scott

? Is it me? Today is Sunday... and I called dispatch to make sure AC is aware that they have something to do today.
I went down to the trailer to feed and water and possibly to make friends. Not happening. He is (still?) very unhappy with people and tries to smash through the trailer to get me. I will have to get a pic when they come to get him.

Oh, gee, Margie, you get to have all of the fun.:lau

I was out installing fence in a sauna yesterday morning, so I was unaware that BYC was down until after the fact. OK, so it was actually the horse paddocks, not a sauna, but when it's already 80° F and 95% humidity at dawn, it sure feels like it. I was trying to get something done before the sun got high enough to make it too brutal, but you coulda wrung water outta my clothes by the time I quit. Sometimes I wonder how anyone survives without air conditioning . . . I know I did for many years, but I was younger then.:th

Yesterday here was a three undershort day. Yeah, I know, TMI. I'm about to go commando.

:barnie Sent two dogs to a field trial with a handler last weekend. Didn't do much good - two NBQ (5th) places. Oh yeah, something more - both broke with kennel cough yesterday. :barnie Young dogs that have never been exposed. Hopefully now they will develop immunity, but will likely miss the next several weeks of competition. It's too darned hot anyway.

At least you caught the cough when it started, don't older dogs pass any exposure germs or such to the young ones?
I'm just wondering as I don't know much about dogs.
