Scottcaddy, they implied permanently. It would almost double my flock! And mean I have to build a large coop. Still an easy decision?

Still easy, whats just 5 more birds? You always need a bigger coop so start with a bigger one! Save time later by doing it now.

Looks like it might rain i should go cover stuff up.

Yeah, it rained alright! I was not ready for it. Just took the board front off the brooder to expose the hardware cloth so there is some ventilation. But that removed the eye hooks so there was no way to latch the top. Quick fix, i screwed one in with my fingers and went up to the coop to put stuff away there. Drove the Mule into the storage garage and shut the drive door because the plywwood that supposedly does not need painting was getting wet. Then off to flip over those boards that had been painted. Ugh. Then my skylight started leaking, probably from where the caulk took way too long to dry. Cursed humidity! Swept out the dirt and leaves, but did not try to put down flooring on a wet floor. Humbug.
