I wish. Princess redecorates the house seasonally. Today we are doing the kitchen/dining room. I'm in charge of window cleaning, moving stuff, and hanging stuff on the walls. The good news is that this completes the 'Autumn Renewal'.

Ah I see...when does the Holiday/Christmas Renewal happen?

Entirely too soon. However that doesn't involve windows, wall decorations, rugs, etc. 'Stuff' just gets added to every room. Many years ago my sister visited with her little grandson. He entered the house and looked all around - then exclaimed, "You have stuff everywhere. Our house is sort of empty." Understatement.

We decorate the outside quite a bit for Christmas. One neighbor said he thought we had installed an airport runway. Getting up on the roof becomes less fun every year.

I love outdoor Christmas lights and decorations. I know they're a pain, but to me, they just add something special to the season. Now, if I could only get DH to see it the same way
