I would think that looking down does it for the numbness. Try setting a timer on the phone so that you can do neck stretches and exercises. Google some!

That makes sense. Thanks! I'll look up some stuff. My shoulder/neck/back definitely get sore too so those will be useful but I think at least with with issue it's mainly my hand/wrist. I think probably from holding the phone too though. I just meant when my hand is numb it bothers my whole arm/feels weird but maybe I'm weird lol

I've had numbness and tingling in my hands for many years. What's odd is some days I don't have it at all, or only one hand is bothered. I just accept it along with all my other disturbances like 6+weeks of vertigo. Mostly it is laying back down in bed or getting up. Some days spinning fast, and other days just barely. It doesn't want to leave now, so just another thing to adjust to.
I wonder if I could simply "train" my eyes (are they a muscle?) And read more and get off my phone instead of being on it near 24/7 365, and have my eyes get stronger. I do not want glasses or for my eyes to rely on them.

In other news, idk if I mentioned the test or essay or how much writing the test was and I never want to write again? But we got them back today and I got a 95 on the test and a 97 on the essay
Awesome news on the test! Considering you were sick when you wrote it that's really impressive.

My grandfather was an optometrist. He said when reading (I'll add in in any form) read for 15 minutes then look up and out to the distance as far as you can for about a minute. This helps relax the muscles used while reading.

I have near vision in left eye and far vision in right. Between them I usually don't need to use any glasses. When I do read alot I find the far eye gets very fatigued trying to see closer. When it does I use my reading glasses(Dollar tree) and it is much happier.

I've been getting hidden word puzzles at Dollar Tree and hoping it's a good exercise for eyes, brains or both. I do seem to have an easier time at finding words, upside down, backwards, diagonally etc. so like to think it is helping.

Husband finally went to the doctor! Been gone 2 hours, snuck out while i was asleep.
That is a hoot!

Better go check the local hospital soon....

I hope he is ok! It must be serious
