CF how's your husband? What did doc say?
They took an xray, said one or 2 broken ribs. Heck, i knew that by the way he was acting. They gave him a shot and rx for pills. He is lost now, he can't play with his chain saw or toss the frisbee much for the dog. The dog is bubbling over with energy. It takes two of us to wear her down every day. May have to buy her a ball chucker.
He is taking it slower but he still took several walks today.

I have near vision in left eye and far vision in right.
That's called monovision. I knew someone in her late 50s who never wore reading glasses. I asked her about it and she said she actually wore contacts, one for distance and one for close up.
Bifocal wearers can get Lasik done.... They just do the same thing. I've been thinking about getting contacts to see if my brain can adapt to it easily. Oddly enough I had no problem going from single vision to progressives so it just might work for me.

Phew. That's so lucky that's all it is. Not that I'm saying that broken ribs aren't horribly painful, but that there weren't extremely serious injuries.

I bet you're having one he'll of a time getting him to slow down aren't you?

Well in a sense ,yes. Because she had one near sighted and one far sighted so she could get along without glasses but now she needs them to read. But any time you have surgery they can screw up. I have been wearing glasses since 3rd grade. I am fine with it.

That makes sense but stinks since she was probably hoping it would fix it

Yes, he really really wants to do more chain saw work. He is not supposed to lift anything heavier than a milk jug. He likes to help me build stuff too, and i like a helper at times. But he does need to go slow and he knows it. He was terrible after his hernia surgery, wanted to do all sorts of things. He is a go go go type person.

Dh is like that about his tractor. Every day he has to do something with the tractor. When he was unable to use it for a few days, he was miserable. I threatened to start a chapter of John Deere Anonymous. Funny thing, several wives around here said that if I started one, they'd enroll their husbands too.

I'm awake, it must be time for coffee! Anyone else ready for a cup or two?
