Yes, that is a very nice avatar!
DS$ and I had a funny experience today. He double bracketed up into the high school weights and as his match was getting ready to go, a very hairy and mustachioed young man came up to him with a weird look and asked if he was 10. DS$ said yes, he was 10, meaning the 10th match but I was thinking 10 year old was what was being discussed. DS$ pinned the kid and I was like, "You should probably go tell him you are not 10!"

Margie, that's one of those moments when your kid looks at you like "duh", lol. I've had a few of those myself and still see the eyeball rolling that ensued!

Morning! 32F / 0C here, so warm and snowy with 4 inches of the unpredicted stuff. Perfect for a snowball fight if anyone wants to come play. We are headed off to a wrestling tournament this morning and the best thing about the time switch is that I am mentally ready to go and actually waiting. Thanks for the hot coffee!

blach. About the same temp here. Got some snow this morning. Pretty, but I hate snow and winter. :he Might have to start up the heat soon. I just have to remember to start it up before we bust pipes.

Good morning Cafe.
Thanks for the coffee Sour.

Hoping we get some sunshine today. It was kind of cloudy yesterday which always makes me sluggish. Must be part plant or something.

Me too. The more sun and heat the more I can do. So yeah...living up here is a problem. anyhoo.

Here are some pretty pictures of the toxic white stuff. :barnie

my youngest ran to church barefoot. I just picked up some shoes for him from Salvation Army. I asked him why he didn't wear them...he said he didn't want to be late for church, and didn't see the shoes right off, didn't want to spend the time trying to find them.

It is so pretty!

My feet are very cold now though...

Wonderful pictures @Alaskan :thumbsup

That last one with the red buildings and the white snow looks like a Christmas card.

Your kiddo ran outside without his shoes on? :lau How cool you got his footprints photographed!
that kiddo...has issues. He often goes outside barefoot to do chores or to run to church. I just don't get it. I am telling you, I just this past week got him a pair of rubber boots, and he has his snow boots... both pair fit. :barnie

I think he got it in his head that it is cute, or Alaska manly....not sure.

No frostbite, so I guess it is fine.

Maybe he wants to grow up to be Bigfoot?

We have a few people that do not ever wear shoes around here. That really turns the non-locals heads. And then there are the kilt, fur, broadsword toting mountain men that make up for the no shoe guys.
uh...where do you live?

we used to have a group of barefooters up here... (they went barefoot year 'round).
