BYC Café

You can have all the heat, humidity and Sunshine out there! I will be satisfied with cold temp and some wind.
pshaw!

Cold sounds great at first...but nothing beats a good baking heat!

As a kid I would walk out into the pasture until I found a flat rock bigger than I was, without cactus growing too close. Then I would lay down on the rock, put my hat over my face. ..and just stay there...until the heat had entered my bones!!! ah! Paradise! ! The temperature was probably in the 90s.

You just described hell!
Ino summer I am in AC all the time! Can't stand the heat, completely! Can't do nothing! In cold temperatures, I sleep well, eat well, as long as I am dressed correctly, in hot temp when I reached my skin I can't take off nothing else AND IT STILL HOT!
I think that both of us live in the wrong place!

sounds like it.

As to heat, NEVER strip down. The key is to keep skin covered from the direct rays of the sun.

Also, the type of fabric is EXTREMELY important. Even 2% of a bad polyester in your cotton shirt and you will think death is approaching.

I would wear boots, jeans, elbow length shirt, and a wide brimmed cowboy hat in 100 degree weather with zero breeze and zero clouds. Now in weather like that, though I loved working outside, I did need to take a long break for lunch.

Ah! It sure was nice!

Ron, that was an interesting postcard you got from Sweet Maria's. Mmm, I love a City Roast.

Having a good hot cup of coffee right now, watching the snow a'blowing.
I like their post cards!

I had some of the Brazilian coffee this morning. I will likely have an espresso tonight

Do you get a post card with every order? I don't remember ever getting one in the past when I ordered from them. But I do remember the husband is deep into photography...seems one year he did a calendar with dog pix he had snapped from his travels.

Yes!

Tom takes the photos and I do get one often in an order. Not all the time though.

Here are a couple more:
