Though I still haven't "started" my day yet, I'm loving just sitting by the fire drinking my coffee. Wood stove is "fixed"! Turns out it wasn't broken after all, just needed a good cleaning. Apparently we have an odd liner. Ah well, at least we didn't have to spend as much money.

Anyway, I've started to dream of new chicken breeds to get in the spring and I'm looking through photos lol. I should probably get going!

DS$ came down with the stomach flu last evening but he is doing much better this AM and I hope no one else in the family gets it.

Husband says they have special vacuums for cleaning the woodstove. I don't plan on getting that fussy about cleaning the stove, but if he wants to.... have at it!
I went out in the drippy weather and worked inside the coop hoop. Secured the end of the roof so no varmints can get in there. I really doubt anything will try to get in the other end, because it is not actually on the end of the coop. But i am going to secure it anyway. I believe in predator prevention when possible.
