I dislike big airports! We got stuck overnight in NY at the airport due to flight cancellation. No hotels to be had. Not a good place to try and sleep. Glad to stay home for the holidays.

One time I was flying home from school and got stuck at the airport all night. I got there early too like in the afternoon because my uncle drove me and he had to work and the airport is like an hour and a half, 2 hours away. Anyway, they had to deice it so that took a while but then something was wrong with the wing or engine or something, idk exactly, but it was like they would work on it for a while then come in and say it was fixed or "almost fixed" but then nope, not ready yet. Something else is wrong or we never fixed that original problem, etc. Etc. Anyway, my original flight I think was at like 6 maybe or maybe earlier than that, that might be when the issues started. Anyway, next thing I know, I didn't get on until like 10 or 11. This was around Christmas too. It was so dang annoying. I would have to dig through my Facebook to find the exact story but yeah. Basically they kept saying it was "almost done" and had a ton of tech working on it but it kept being delayed more and more and I was there all freaking night!! But I am thankful that I did not have to sleep overnight there and that I had my phone and Netflix lol
