the topsoil...was that one of the worker rejects that are "working" on your goat shed?

I should have made a kid try to scrape some of the ice off of the bridge that leads to our front door...but I didn't.

Eldest is eyeball deep trying to finish up papers for college finals next week...

2nd kid did Mandarin for 3 hours Friday, then 3.5 hours at the pool for Lifeguard training...and he went back today, 8 am (I hate early mornings, and I drove him in) until 6pm. Tomorrow he does it AGAIN, but from SEVEN:45 in the MORNING until 6pm.

That left kids 3,4, and 5 to clean the kitchen, do animal chores, do laundry, take out trash, chop wood, cook.... eh, I let them slack off, what can I say.

Actually the guy that delivered fill today was the guy that did our driveway. Took forever but he did have surgery in the middle of the job.

Apparently 45 out of the 50 states had snow today. Even Hawaii high up on the mountains, Texas, Arizona, and most of the southern states. Holy mackerel.

We had it then it turned to rain

We had snow but it has been melting. Kind of turned to slush, but supposed to freeze.

we got a light dusting but, after a car goes over it it compacts to ice. Car are always using the driveway to back up and turn around. They are unable to understand the sign that says 'dead end'. At any rate I was out with the ice melter hoping to prevent any slips.

Morning! Coffee and tea water are on and hot! Heard a coyote on the property so got up and checked on things. We are putting the hotwire up today around the new area so just making sure nothing was amiss.
Glad the cat was found!
The new bunnies are cute!
Peppermint creamer for the coffee today...
