I too just grabbed another cup of coffee. It's miserable outside today, and so far I have not done much out there.

I don't know yet. I had about a dozen, but I had a racoon family move into my barn while I was distracted by having a baby, and they decimated my flock. I have one old Leghorn rooster running around yet, lousy thing, but gotta respect him.
Yes I keep busy, I keep dreaming of becoming a Homesteader, but babies keep distracting me.

I only have one kid and feel that I'm pretty rubbish at the whole Homesteading thing...but I'm working on it!
I read about homesteading moms all the time and I probably shouldn't because it makes me feel so inferior!

You guys are going to think I'm weird, but I collect Hot Wheels. I have since my son was little. Not everything, but things you don't see often. I have the Homer Mobile, a go cart, a bumper car, all kinds of stuff. Today I scored this

So cool! My boys used to love Hot Wheels and it seemed like we had a million of them but I've never seen the Jetsons flying car! Great find!

I consider homesteading a journey not a destination. A lot of people are alot further along then I am and I tend to backtrack alot, but at least I am walking the path.
I have several friends that fall into the "Crunchy mom" category. Mine ate Cheetos for supper last night, so pretty sure I got lost and missed that road.
