I really love me some fresh donuts - had a chocolate iced cruller (did I spell that right?).the donuts that are mostly empty air inside - figure must be healthier.

I have not had Safeway donuts in a long time but they were good. Usually Bakeries in stores are bake off shops. The pastries come in frozen and are proofed and the cooked

Tim Hortons was like that.... now essentially all they do in house is glaze... so sad.

Chocolate iced cruller? Oooo that sounds divine.
I've only ever had glazed.

They were still yummy last time i was there, but that is years ago now.

Hello, Café. Here's a fresh pot. Power has been out for 60 hours and cable for 48. We're running on generator, and cable just came back on. No guarantee for how long. Couple hundred thousand still without power here, and estimated repair date is Wednesday or Thursday. Princess and I are fine. We installed a 'house wide' generator after Hurricane Sandy, but lots of folks here are hurting.

Yay Sour I thought maybe you had snuck out for a cruise or something . Duh, I never thought about the storms. So glad to have you materialize again.

I brewed a couple pots of coffee, cooked some bacon and eggs, and put a couple dozen doughnuts on the counter in honor of Sour's return. Enjoy!
