BYC Café

Thanks Michelle, going to have some coffee this morning and I suppose fruit is a good idea; I'll grab an apple.

Yikes on all the ice + teeth stories. That tends to be a bad combination.

I am sorry for your various childhood traumas @drumstick diva , it can make the rest of life seem like an uphill battle. :hugs

As for the only thing going on in my life right now (maple syrup and a cold), DH collected the sap after work (plus side to having later sunset now), and sure enough most of the buckets were overflowing. Little one is still really stuffed up, but I'm feeling a bit better.

We've been having light snowfalls so it still looks very much like winter around here. No problem for March....but come April I want to see some signs of spring :) I was hoping to get snap peas in the ground in a month, but it's hard to imagine that happening with the ground so very very frozen!

I was hoping to get snap peas in the ground in a month,

This struck me as a little bit funny - I have sugar snaps in pots in the greenhouse, and I'm just hoping they'll get busy and start blooming, so I can get something from them before the hot weather kills them off!

Ya, warmer climates certainly have their perks!

Good morning Cafe peoples!

Yep, I'm back. Trying to get caught up on all the posts and failing miserably. We had a great trip (bit of Utah, mostly north Arizona, a tiny bit of New Mexico and some of western Colorado). Have to say...I LOVE north AZ, beautiful country, ready to go back anytime!

Thanks for the morning coffee, hope everyone that has been down is feeling better this morning!

@drumstick diva , I , too, lost a front tooth on ice. Of course it was my fault trying to grab some cute young girl by the butt. I really like my dentist but for some reason hate spending money on my teeth. Your teacher reminds me of the eighth grade teacher that to whom I still harbor strong dislike.

Always heard people have trouble with corn on the cob.

Fact not fiction. I am reduced to cutting corn off the cob or eating very carefully out of the left side of my mouth with butter dripping down to my navel.

Glad to see you enjoyed your time away NFC but good to have you back. This place just ain't the same without you.

Aww, thanks Pert :hugs Good to sleep in my own bed again. But I love going places and am already looking forward to next time (which can't happen until the fall when the golf course closes...got a lot of work to do between now and then)

Ain't THAT the truth?

Hmmm, is that a good thing or a bad thing? LOL, I missed all of you guys!
