BYC Café

I'm sorry!

I had them all quoted and pasted them but then I was thinking the conversation was kinda over and also it's 12:30am here and idk, it sounds really stupid, but sometimes I'm not really up to typing long replies or much of anything, but usually I force myself so it's not noticeable haha plus it's not often cause let's face it, I love the talking. :lau

I probably could have replied to it all but I want to sleep early for once lol I promise I'll long quote extra to make up for it! :p

And thank you!! You too!!
I hope to have a relaxing weekend. Last week was quite busy at work

Bf said it rained last night thinks pretty hard, had like 3 days dry
still have that ark ready in case
I hope the storms stop for you! It looks like they have stopped here. We are dry and have highs in the 80s next week

I have found that the chicks that peck eyeballs.. are usually thirsty.... I just grab them and dunk their beak in the water.

Thank you I had not thought of that but it makes sense the eye shiny like the water dish and I have small rocks in the dish to keep them form drowning.

G'morning everyone :frow

Coffee is ready for those who are ready to get up this early

Yesterday I cleaned out the coop and rebuilt my compost pile for the 100th time this year. Then we went and picked up a spinning compost barrel thing we got free from a friend and figured out where to put it. By the time all was done, I showered and went to bed by 7 last night. Now I'm up waaaaaaay too early and have work today :sick
Enjoy your morning coffee and have a great day!
The compost turner is super cool! DH bought me one a couple years ago, it was plastic so I said inside stuff only! OOPS, DH had on his Wifey ears again and overloaded it with coop compost. :barnie now it just sits out in the yard leaning to one side. he keeps saying he is going to fix it for me and yet, there it sits. :smackMoral of the story if it has plastic parts watch the load size you put in it! :old

I tried my hand at fashioning a hatching tray,
20180421_130831.jpg The next hatch has 3 eggs will this get them enough air and allow them to get out of it once they hatch? is it big enough? should I secure it to a side of the bator?
