that is mold there a hard brush with the bleach water then coat with Kilz for bathrooms or moist areas
@KDOGG331 bleach it out and let it air dry. That will kill the mold and the fumes will evaporate with airing. Painting the Kilz will keep it from coming back if you're concerned about that.
Bleach is good because it has a sort TTL(time to live). Bleach should not be used straight though. It should be diluted a lot. Look up strong bleach solution.
Wear a mask!
Good afternoon cafe. Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. Hubs has wanted to get another dog. Meet Frankenweenie. He's a bull terrier pit mix. One dark ear and two different colored eyes.

Been watching chick tv all afternoon
Its hard not to! And DH is currently washing dishes and cooking dinner, LO is getting his pre-dinner tv show.
So I am feeling pretty content right now. I hope everyone else is well!
(Not looking forward to those almost freezing temperatures tomorrow though)

Looks like it to me. Bleach and then dry. Paint with Kilz and then regular paint.
Thanks everyone! I gotta find that Kilz stuff.
I used this foaming bleach stuff we had then when that ran out I put regular bleach with water in the spray bottle and used that, filled it twice.
The walls look pretty clean now but I was having a hard time getting the ceiling without spraying myself. And had a hard time getting that white board clean. :/
And unfortunately now they're moved in. No choice.
Can I still scrub with them in there? Maybe it will evaporate by roost time? Definitely can't paint ha
Although given how long it's been sitting there, I should have taken care of this issue a long time ago.
If I put hardware cloth over the rafters so they can't go up there do you think they'll be okay? Cause I think most of the mold now is up by the ceiling and the roosts are lower.
My dad, annoyingly, seems to think it's no big deal. :/
