You would have to put them someplace while you paint. But it doesn't take long to dry.

I probably should have dealt with the mold and painted before we moved them in... the coop has been sitting there a while.

But I didn't realize the mold was as bad as it was and had no choice in moving them yesterday. Plus been busy with school.

We don't have a place to put them now that the old coop is destroyed unless I maybe lock them out of the coop and put them in the run?? Or I could wait week or two until they get used to the new coop then let them free range while I paint?
 
if you can treat the rest of the coop for mold you could wait to
paint a week or so

Thanks, I think I'll do that. Although I might have to wait anyway as I have a test Tuesday and papers due. :/

I did manage to get most of the mold I think, just some spots are harder to get and still there so I'll need to scrub

I would just put them in the run until it dries well.
