@Michelle Farmer-Brown @007Sean , We were actually wanting a barn cat, so we're happy to have one around. I saw the kitten out this morning and it looked pretty big; I'm not sure if mom is still around but I saw a big 'ol dead rat this morning sitting at the entrance of their "home" in the barn.

@Mtn Margie I really hope the little one pulls through! We'll put on some more coffee for you

I am up to 3 guineas hatched this morning. Idk how they ever break through those hard shells!
 
Yay for the hatching! I have baby down in with Mom and bro.
Mom is not outright saying "no" more confused and trying to remember. I put boy poo on girl's hiney. She just needs to figure out how to really nurse. It is more, I will nurse when the teat is in my mouth, kinda. She is way smaller than the boy so we will see. I will keep working throughout the day.
