Sean sounds like you thought out everything very carefully and it pays off.
Yep, DD after all the years of raising birds, I've finally figured it out!!!:gig More work putting it all in but saves so much time and effort, plus, the birds are better off, healthier and happy.

Morning! It was 37 last night. How do I know? I was "camping", sleeping in a sheep pen with a wool blanket, tending to a little one. Lots of critter chores! Neighbor's dog's insulin twice a day and horses and lambs. I think DS$ is feeling put out...
Have a great day everyone and stay cool!

Is the little one ok Margie?

We've been having the same chilly evenings here too (but at least I get to sleep inside :p)

I have another small weak lamb out of a well fed ewe. Not sure if it is bloodlines or something else that I might be doing. All of the other ones have been good sized, but these weak ones were out of a mom and daughter, both crossed with the same ram. There is one more cross to go and if there is another weak one, we will probably sell that ram.
