Good morning everyone
Hot here too... mind you, our idea of hot is probably a lot cooler than what you guys get. This is the 3rd time this year that we've had heat warnings. 28c (82.4F) ... 31c in the city.

It's all relative to what you're used to though.

Yup.
As uncomfortable as it may be, I'll take the heat over the -40 or more we had last winter.

Yup, 110 and 111 here next couple of days. Stay cool over there! The winds feel like a blow dryer, ugh!

Further north it is hotter and in the Fall I had to ride the bus to high school. No AC in the buses and opening the window felt like a furnace.

I am more worried about the fires. CA spent 2.6 billion on fighting fires last year. This year has 2Billion budgeted

Ron I think every ti.es the news announces fire warning some j@$!$$# sets some.
So sad.

I hope my veggies perk back up after a couple days. I have got to get a couple boards to put on one end of my raised bed so I csp put some 60% shade cloth over them. I'm hoping it will help save them.

2 of mine look almost dead. One looks a little dry. Hoping they perk up. Hard to water cause they soil underneath the top layer mostly stays like bone dry :/

My garden gets a fair amount of shade and hubby has been watering daily. I have stuff i need to replant but idk if its just going to bake why bother?
