Good morning! All is well in the sheep world...
Do you think she will stay that dark or color as her mother is
never had been around sheep
She will stay that beautiful dark gray. She is even cuter this am. 12.4 lbs
Awww yay! Adorable. And what ever happened with that one ram? Did he make a third undersized lamb or do you think it was from the ewe's side?
He had a set of nice sized twins that are growing well. ???
Someone in the sheep world said that the little girl lamb with the big twin sounded like a second breeding fluke. I don't know if it also could be from shearing, perhaps getting a kink in the cord when they are flipped over? The jury is still out on this for me and I think I need more information.
All I know is that I am glad lambing is done and now we can move on to all of the other things needing attention.
I might have to help with the horses owned by the murdered woman as that sad situation gets resolved with the grandparents not being able to take them back to where they live.
More to the story of course, but still weird...

G'morning cafe :)

It's just about 0700 here and I've already watered some stuff, cleaned the kitchen and ran dishwasher, fed the chickens, took the dogs to the park and let my granddog throw around the puppy while me and the old girl walked around the lake. We came home for baths, now I'm off to the grocery store while they nap
I'm making coconut curry chicken and potatoes for dinner :drool

Have a great day all :frow

Glad the other lambs were okay!! That is very weird though and I never would have thought of the sheering thing. It will be interesting to see if you can figure out the cause and possibly prevent it.

I bet you are glad though! That sounds like a lot of work and time making sure all those babies and their parents are safe and sound.

And hmm, what was the story about the murdered woman again? I seem to forget that one. And do the grandparents have land? If so, weird they can't take them
