BYC Café

This one can be kept in the house but it would need grow lights. I bought some. A florescent and a grow light.
I'm going to make a teepee out of bamboo to hold the grow light over my kumquat over the winter so the fruit will ripen.
I have some guava seedlings coming so I will figure out how to hang the shop light over my sewing table for the young trees.

I remember reading about your kumquat. I haven't had any in years!
I'm using grow LED bulbs for my indoor plants but I want to do a shelf system in there instead. Researching it now, I'm going to build instead of buy, sheesh those systems are expensive.

Good luck with the kumquat!

Thanks.
I've seen those shelf systems.

Good luck.

I might try one of those plastic shelves from Walmart and shop lights to hand over each shelf.

Good brunch time cafe, the coffee is much needed today.
I am feeling puzzled today, we are going to get Hairy-et her companion tomorrow :highfive: I am excited :yesss:but he is a young male December chick. I am sure at his age he is most likely still figuring out his crow. For me that is a non issue, but for DH And son a crowing cockerel in the house !
I am trying to figure out a way to turn the stray cat shelter into a starter home for him (Bren is what they call him, short for Brindle. The lady that has raised him does Great Dane rescue so multicolored rooster it works)
This is the cat house.

I took out the carpet and shelves. Hardware cloth on the windows and door I don't use to a run, but how to get Hairy-et to be able to get in with her messed up feet and the fact that she trips makes me either uncomfortable or as DH suggests Over Protective :idunno.
The cat house cannot be easily moved it is very heavy! Three quarter plywood on a wooden pallet. It is also pretty close to bedroom windows :th. So still drinking coffee and thinking. I gave what was going to be my starter Silkie pen to a nice duck family .

Have a great day, may all your projects be fun :clap

Yup that's what I was thinking, but I'm going use the metal wire shelves. I want to cover one wall in my home office with plants.

We have built in shelves in the room we call our office problem they are all the same width try and get a grow light that would shine each one would be in the middle of the narrow room.. After the rodeo yesterday not thinking real good yet..
Thank you for the coffee this is my second cup
