BYC Café

It is possible! The room needs to stay at a stable temperature and the vent from the AC should not hit the incubator. Being near windows is also not good. Temperature fluctuation can cause the average temperature during incubation- the first 18 days- to be out of range.

Humidity was 30 to 35%? Lockown should be 65 to 70%

I have an open kitchen / Dining area the incubator is in the dining room. The problem I think is that while DH is working AC is set to 80 deg for my comfort. It begins to cool for him about 5:00 pm ish. Then it goes down to 74. I notice the more the AC runs the more often I need to add water.
Dry humidity runs between 23 and 32 %. I just have a half of sponge in the incubator for moisture and use turkey Bastos to refresh it when humidity drops. It has been staying 28 to 40 % so I may have to conclude that I cannot incubate during DH AC months :(

However out of 6 eggs 1 made it to lockdown today.

Good morning cafe.
Thanks for the coffee IM.
Congrats on your G-sons game Sour!

Good luck to all hatching.
Thanks, the baby guinea was shrink wrapped, so i helped it out. I hope it doesn't have feet issues. I already had to give one the boot treatment.
