She has still laid 2 eggs this week but is at least by previous owner say so at least 4 years old.

I am her 3rd home.

I hope she keeps laying for you! Or maybe not if egg laying issues pop up. She sounds like a real character

She is a character! But we will be her last home, laying or not laughter is a nice gift from a hen too.

Same with the other hen we got from there, she grew up with splayed legs and had been brooding brooding and brooding unfertilized eggs
She is special too and about the only chicken here who can't outrun me

@tjo804 love the crowing hen remember as a kid we had a rooster killed by a fox lead hen in that bunch took over crow and all she was about 4, at 5 all hens went to soups as new coops where already laying ....

Poor DH he said between Hen and Men, he needs an OPAUSE of his own.

I can't stop feeling sorry for him, my chest hurts!

I DID IT!
I got a video of Freeta Feather CROWING.
With the help of DS I was able to put it up on an account I forgot I had it is dark, but as soon as the lights go on and she sees me, no more crow.
The long video has the rooster crow towards the end so you can hear the difference
