But, but, but they all used to run for their lives when I hollered at them. I think I will have to go back to being a Conehead .

I should send you my king snakes. They eat those things for breakfast!Me too! Cap... a copperhead and a rattler! In the same pen. Had to (run back to house)pun intended, and get my rifle to shoot'em.
Rest well and heal quickly.Goodnight DD, sleep well, I'm going to turn in.
You can have that, i like non-venomous snakes! The one bad thing about living in South Texas is, it will stick ya, sting ya, scratch ya, or kill ya!![]()
Annie get yer gun!I've got an entire yard of browse, but the deer only eat my nicest hostas, they don't eat the ordinary ones.
Yesterday a different deer was in my yard - this was a young buck working on growing his antlers. I kept yelling at him and he totally ignored me. I tried to throw a rock at him but it landed by my feet . Finally after harassing him as much as I could - he slowly walked to a gap in the trees and hopped the fence to yard behind mine. Fence is only 42" high so he really just stepped over it.
Animals are loosing their fear of meeven the cats trying to kill birds on MY watch don't run until I've rushed them. Then they go behind a bush and wait till I leave. They used to high tail it as soon as I came out of the house. Another painful blow to my self esteem.
