Not a very good memory. My mom passed in a similar time frame, in the hospital Thanksgiving Day, passed away on Dec. 1

Yeah, that must have been a shock to have your leg break from walking on it!

The shock was in the form of the loud pop when it snapped, sounded like a pistol going off. Then the immediate shockwave of intense pain but yeah, you don't expect it to break just walking.

Okay, lets not try to terrorize everyone- women especially. I've heard the sermon since I was footloose and fancy free (for about like,half an hour- once).Of women who break a hip, the majority die within a year after. They even came out with some inflatable thingy like a lifejacket - that goes around the hips to help protect them in a fall. So far I've never seen anyone with them.

Sleeping most of the day-ME- there is a lot of bone loss from inactivity. I know but, it's what I do best next to eating ice cream.

I was reading the carton of ice cream and the recommended serving is 1/2 a cup! Heck, that's barely a scoop!

Sorry Sean. My Mom is still alive but she can't remember what she said 3 minutes ago. So sad. But she enjoys my yorkie every day.

Oh man, not something i ever want to experience. Broken ribs and toes are bad enough.

Yep, I wouldn't wish it on an enemy! Of all the broken bones I've had this last one was the worse, ever.
