Good Morning! I bet that feels heavenly, IM, after the summer that you had. It is currently 22 with a couple more inches of snow and some fog. We don't usually get days of clouds and fog and I am wishing the sun would come back. Can't Friday hurry up and get here? But on the plus side, we are no longer under fire-weather restrictions or even have smoke in the air from everywhere else.

Yeah, me neither. I really, really need to go to town today but driving 24 miles round trip in this blowing, freezing crud is not appealing at all. I'm hoping DH will come home from work early so he can drive me.

Discretion is the better part of valor. Only missed work once because of weather, and that time got stuck in a major drift on the way there. Now that I am retired, I don't go in the snow unless i have to.

I had a pet squirrel for about 8 years. I used to take it to classes with me in University. She had a leash and collar, and was scared of trees!

I took my drivers test the morning after ice, then snow storm. Aced it! I lived in NY, and NS until 1992, drove through a lot of snow in my time. Never bothered me. Of course we always bought good snow tires.
