BYC Café

BTW I started walking when my mother was dying of cancer. I'd go out at 2-3 am walk 8 miles and come home. My mother wasn't up before then. I didn't want her to see me falling apart and crying. After mom died, my father was enough reason to keep walking. He would watch TV constantly - so usually didn't get up from the chair for a long time. He would fall asleep.

I discovering bit by bit I could walk MUCH farther than I ever imagined. Just needed the right push (my father). I was doing marathon distance often - loved it. Much too slow to be competitive though.

Negative Ghost Rider, too humid and they get hurricanes.

Maybe a bit North of our current location. Possibly east. Either way it would be slightly cooler and we would get more rain but we are likely staying in AZ.

IM, have you spent any time in north AZ? I love the Williams area (Flagstaff is close but too big city for me). It's quite a bit cooler than what you get down south and such a pretty part of the state.

We actually checked into buying some property around Williams. The acreage prices are reasonable but what held us back was lack of water. The area we were looking at, people have to have water hauled in and we didn't feel comfortable with that.

I've had a bit of a flat spot most of this winter. I had a brief burst after the last arts and crafts fair I attended and then it sort of went creatively quiet.
That reminds me, I must upload some pics of the fair.

I want to see your fair pictures!

hi everybody :frow

It's Monday and I'm calling off work. Just don't feel like dealing with nasty people today :idunno Think I'll get some housework done and take a few things to Goodwill instead.

Sean, so happy you're feeling better today!

Shad, thanks for the coffee.

Have a great day!

I’m not going to the office today either, but do have some work to do from my home office.
But I also want to build a pigeon feeder. Hmmmm which to do first?. :P

@N F C I didn’t know you weren’t liking WY now! Can’t say as I blame you. The pics you posted are beautiful, but made me cold just to look at them.

We got some of the white stuff this weekend, but it should melt off this week.

Hope everyone is healing up from injuries!!

Chickens don’t care for the snow, but the ducks don’t seem to mind so much. :)
