Yup, frost on the ground this am. At least in the shade. I'm not a big fan of cold either, make the old bones ache.

It has clouded over here but it's too high for snow thankfully. I really don't need snow atm.

Pretty sure there is no moment I actually need snow.

Cap so very sorry but leaving peacefully, so much better than on a vet's table.

Very true DD. Now i will need to bury him. I plan to put daffodil bulbs on his grave.

Cap I'm so sorry you lost your little guy

I'm glad he was home you and passed peacefully, that's always the best.

He was a funny little guy. Never liked to be held, but he tried his best to "protect " me. He would chase off the cats if they got too close to my feet. And he would go after hubby if he pretended to clobber me. Hubby never liked poor Charlie.

True, but there are days when it is more inconvenient than others.
Any day for the next week or so would be very inconvenient. I've got half a field of oats sown and half still to do.
I've got two fences that have to be repaired or animals are going to be off down the village for coffee; that's not so bad but I couldn't pay the bill atm. Donkeys can drink a lot of coffee.
I've got two pullets hiding out the somewhere. They'll probably be okay while it's dry. I should be able to catch one in the morning when she comes to eat, or rather follow her to her nest and confiscate the eggs.
The electric fence at the top of the land looks like a herd of wild boar got caught up in it; that has to be fixed or I'll have hunting dogs coming in from above.

Just got back from the club - feet are cold. Think coffee will help ? I just brewed another pot.
