BYC Café

Morning! Okay weather here as well. I guess the winds were something yesterday!
I love the pottery too!
Long day at wrestling yesterday, DS$ won his weight bracket, but he is not thrilled because the competition was uneventful. There was a better tournament going on and he wanted to be there, but has to go where the school team goes. I think the coach is figuring out what is worth going to for next year. Oh well, all in the learning...
Today is more firewood splitting and then off to wrestling practice, so keep the coffee on!
DD, I hope you get to go carousing today, all hopped up on ice cream!

me too Margie. Thank you. We haven't had a really bad winter for some time now, so we are overdue and paying for it now. Hope to stock up on food to last awhile. The bad thing about not getting out - is a part from BYC just have food(hopefully ) to amuse me.

Having a lot of trouble sleeping at night - too many wake ups & bad dreams. I may borrow the dream catcher in my son's room (he won't be out here again for months) but, I am afraid I will dis-connect it's power. It has absolutely worked for him since he was in a crib. The place that sold them probably out of business by now - that was 30 years ago.

Thanks for the coffee, Shad. Came in to thaw out a bit and make breakfast. It's only 28 here but expected to go below zero tonight. The path I shoveled to get the dogs off the deck had already filled back in with 2+ inches of snow. Haven't even begun to dig out the vehicles.
Looks like about 1 foot so far but there is a layer of ice in it so it's nice and heavy and sticks really good to the shovel. My favorite kind of snow!

Move it with respect and reverence and ask it to help protect you from bad dreams.

ETA - Should burn some sage while doing this.

Thanks Mr.Sean will it still work when I put it back in my son's room?
Does it understand English? It's above his bed on the wall. But in my room I have windows behind the bed. Wouldn't want it getting freezing temps.,

If you move it back the same way, yes. How do I know if it understands English?
They work best when suspended over your pillow, where your heads going to be...the bad dreams get caught in the web and good dreams get filtered down the feather and to the one who is sleeping below.

Oh no don't have any sage around. Oy maybe I better leave it in his room and sleep on his bed. Then I'd probably wake with a start and wonder where my bed went.
I burn sage in my house daily.
