Thanks. We've been dealing with it for a while now. I think we're doing as best as can be expected.
He is coping well. We had a bump last month when his driver's license was revoked. That changes things for me as I now try not to run errands on the way home nearly as much as I used to. I go home, take care of chores then we go back out together. If I were in his shoes I'd want to get out of the house so I do that as much as I can for him.
You play the best hand you can with the cards you're dealt. We still laugh and have fun. We joke about his memory loss and all the other rotten symptoms of this disease. What else can you do?
