The birds and George are all doing great. Cold for us 46°F but suppose to get colder tomorrow night, then warm back up again.
How are your birds doing?

Glad they're all good!

Our quail quit laying when we dispatched half of them, but we have a new layer of blue eggs. I guess they're getting over the shock.

Quite a few of the smallholdings here keep a couple of pigs. There is a man here in these mountains who goes from smallholding to smallholding to slaughter and cut up the pig.
It's a big event and the guy who slaughters the pigs does a fairly elaborate ceremony to honor the pig.
Cured hams are a specialty of this region. They sell all over the world. The locals place orders for ham from the pigs killed with this ceremony months before.

Morning! Sill cold here but not getting the snow for today (3-6 inches predicted yesterday) in fact it is sunny with hardly any clouds.... :idunno but that is okay.
DD, My attitude is that failure is an opportunity to learn and you should never be afraid of failure!
You don't have to like it, but not trying because of being afraid to fail will stunt one's growth for sure.

Coffee, hot coffee! Oops, now I see a cloud....and here I was bashing on the weather people....
:lau Have a great day everyone!
