BYC Café

Shad my ice cream comes in 14 oz. containers - that's why I can eat two back to back and still are not satiated . :hit Shelf price varies by store but usually 4.99 or 5.99 retail. By buying 5 at one time the other day I was able to get them for $ 12.50. Still a big chunk of change to me. My usual spending money is $12. for the month and gone in a flash.

plus tax of course.
So not so different in price then.

Good morning café. Thanks for the coffee.
Sour, you mentioned yesterday that you had shingles blowing off your loft. Have you had a chance to eyeball the amount of damage?

Decision time. Replace the roof or tear down the loft.

A small tube here is normally around 6.5 Euros. So the quart tubs DD is talking about are probably at least 10 Euros. I call that expensive.
I don't know why it is those prices. In Italy for example you can buy really good ice cream for next to nothing.

OOOh, gelato! When we lived in Key West a family from Italy opened a shop right down the street from us. They brought all their old gelato equipment and churned out big batches of just about every flavor imaginable. That stuff was delicious!

Any one in the mood for some banana bread (the male variety Sour) and a fresh cup of coffee?

I could definitely eat some of that! It's the end of the month so it's essentials only for a few days.:(
Wait, I've got some frozen Apple Strudel I bought after Christmas.:celebrate
