Just got back from town, y'all know what that means....bought a gallon of Carnie Guisada and 20 fresh made flour tortillas. Everyone help yourselves, there's plenty to go 'round!

Good morning Debby and Sean and the rest of you when you arrive.

I've got a day of taking those I take care of to their doctors appointments. One of the appointments is a 1.5 hour drive away. Sigh. Then one of the dogs has a vet appointment tomorrow.
And it is now 26 days and counting before the chicks arrive and I have a ways to go before the coop is ready.

I'm headed outside to get the temporary quail housing materials ready to set up today. I can't stand the smell of those things! This will be our last batch of quail and then I'm done. It was fun, but I'm going to stick with chickens only from now on.

At least you were able to try the quail, no big deal if they aren't right for you. There's plenty of chicken breeds to try out!

The first day wasn't too bad...got the inventory done and 2 big orders submitted so it's a start. Can't order any perishables right now as the big walk-in died and has to be repaired. Hopefully that can be done quickly, then I can submit another big food order.

Morning! Shearing day! Lots of coffee and I am hoping that all is well with the cafe folk!
DS$ off to IA for a wrasling tourney so I guess with the snow coming in tomorrow, it will be a good couple of days to be able to hang out by the computer and catch his matches.
I am guessing that I still won't be reading all of the posts but hoping to catch up some.
