BYC Café

I'm so far behind. I'm reading backwards trying to catch up.
NFC you're back to work already? I didn't think spring had sprung there yet.

Sorry the quail didnt work out for you IM. I love their little quail song, but they are stinky.

We got the catio done & the one cat loves it. He only comes in for two seconds to eat & runs back out there. The other cat hasn't gone out yet & since she practically sleeps on my head, I'm good with her not bringing more allergens or dirt in.

Pictures? :pop

I did it! I survived the farm store without buying chicks. Got tons of chick supplies though.

You're a strong man!

Yes. Yes I am.

So. I'm sitting in the waiting room while Mom is in seeing the Dr.
There was a guy with a bilateral leg amputation in a wheelchair looking a little peeved when we arrived in the parking lot. 20 minutes later he rolls into the reception area asking if they can call his transport service for him again. He then starts chatting up the receptionist and the next comment I pick up in the conversion was when he said "

Oh man...a cliff hanger :pop

That lady reminds me of this all-too-familiar meme:

. . . and bless her, she did!:thumbsup

That cat bears a more than passing resemblance to one of mine, too. Though he has a flair for comedy, I don't think he's moonlighting.View attachment 1717524 View attachment 1717525(Or am I the only one who remembers the bag-wearing "Unknown Comic" from the Gong Show . . .maybe the only one who admits to it?)

Bunny, you & I may have talked before about our cats...they look quite a bit alike :D

At least one of the kitties is enjoying the catio Roomy, that's 50%!

Right now I'm just gearing up at work, not back to it full time yet. That's coming up soon though.

Oh for the love of...
gotta love working on a very poor quality cell phone in a Dr. office waiting room. Let's finish that story...

Now I found this extremely funny and burst out laughing. He laughed too as that was his intention. He continued bantering with the receptionist.
I was just so impressed with his entire outlook on life. Him being wheelchair bound didn't suppress his enthusiasm one bit. He kinda made my day.

Oops, you posted the "rest of the story" while I was posting. Great sense of humor!

Here’s some before, during & after pics of the catio. The before pics are always so embarrassing. I know, I know, I have a lot of trash cans.

That's awesome!!!
Hopefully, I'll get the screened in room done on our back deck this year so our cat can enjoy it before she dies. She'll be 17 in June.
She loved the screened in patio we had in flip #4.
