I was going for sort of a café birthday theme so I made your PB cake & the brownie recipe @ashlierami posted on the Yum thread yesterday. We haven't tried the cake yet, but it looks beautiful & is always a crowd pleaser. I didn't put any mayo in it, but I did put an extra egg in & a drop extra of oil, just for good measure. Ashlies brownies are excellent btw.

Brownie, brownies, brownies have to make them tomorrow- just what I need a whole batch for myself. Should I make male or female brownies? guess which? I imagine small brownies would like bigger nuts - maybe whole pecans.

Have lost my taste for almonds and walnuts - darn and they are cheaper too.

Do you use the Aloe for your skin? Do you know which type it is? We have tow plants here; one is Aloe Vera and the other is called something else but has similar properties.
I use them to shave. I cut the spikes off the leaf, split it down the middle and rub the sap straight onto my face. It works really well.

These are aloe vera. I do use it on my skin, to shave my legs and for sun burns. The hummingbirds visit when they bloom.

Our local news ran a video from within a car in Texas during a hail storm. The hail was so large that it broke the windshield.

That's not unusual in this part of the world. About six or seven years ago a hail storm came through and beat downtown Abilene up pretty bad. Fortunately I live about fifteen miles south of there and only received nickel sized hail.
